Create a LAN Failover Device¶

Use the following commands to define and enable the failover device.

$ MCR LANCP
LANCP> DEFINE DEVICE LLA0/FAILOVER=(EWA0,EWB0)
LANCP> DEFINE DEVICE LLA0/ENABLE

These DEFINE commands create entries in the permanent LAN database, SYS$SYSTEM:LAN$DEVICE_DATABASE.DAT.
