SCP and SFTP Tuning¶

Enable the NoDelay option for SCP and SFTP transfers to improve throughput. Performance improvements of up to 20% have been observed.

$ SCP "-o NoDelay Yes" source-name destination-name
$ SFTP "-o NoDelay Yes" [user@host]
